As President & Chief Wealth Strategist, Shon leads his firm in delivering premium expertise to clients in order to serve their financial strategy needs in a way the maximizes confidence. He is frequently asked to appear on local TV as an area financial expert and his insights have been quoted in leading financial news publications such as CNBC, Yahoo Finance, Fox Business, Consumer Reports, Forbes, Bankrate.com, Investment News & Kiplingers. In addition, Shon is honored to be a Dayton Business Journal “40 under 40” award winner and was inducted to the Greeneview hall of Fame, his hometown. Furthermore, Shon has been recognized as a leader in the industry and was asked to join the Forbes Finance Council.
Shon began his financial career in 2003. He is a two-time graduate of Wright State University earning both a Bachelor’s degree majoring in financial services as well as an M.B.A. degree concentrated in finance. In addition, Shon has earned the distinguished designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Further professional endeavors include serving as an adjunct professor teaching Finance & Estate Planning courses at Wright State University and is currently serving as president of the Dayton CFA Society.
On a personal note, both Shon and his wife Jessica grew up in the lake community of Shawnee Hills near the small town of Jamestown, Ohio. Presently, they reside in Sugarcreek Township, Ohio and are blessed with triplet daughters Elizabeth, Bridgette, and Alexandra along with their son Jacob and dogs Biscuit & "Ella". Over the years, Shon has remained involved in the community through several organizations including Wright State's Planned Giving Council, the Miami Valley Hospital Foundation, Defense Advisory Committee for the Gala of Hope Foundation and was recently appointed by Governor Dewine to serve as a Trustee at Central State University.
